Note to self: Scanning artbook pages without damaging the book itself is hard. Hence the blurriness all over poor Killik there. But here you go, I tried to scan some more anyway.

Sooooo, the new Ohkubo artbook. It is fantastic. Absofuckinglutely fantastic. And no, I'm not going to scan too many pages for y'all, since I'm a firm believer in "If you want it, then buy it." Also, I don't want to damage the binding on my own copy, not too much. But here's just a little sampling of what's inside.

So other than that, what all is in the artbook, you may ask? Well, everything, basically, plus the kitchen sink. The book contains every single color Soul Eater illustration that Ohkubo has ever done, large or small, including material that he created for the anime DVD releases and Monotone Princess Wii game, plus colored story pages from the manga.

Retail price, 2980 yen.

It's a hardcover, A4 size, with a dust jacket AND a plastic slip case, so that's a very reasonable price for such a book.

OX with hair! all of them appear it's me or the boys look taller? I mean, Tsubaki, Liz and Patti are way taller than their masters, but in this picture the difference is not very notable, or is only me orrzz . And that picture of Noah/Eibon/Grimoire/I don't care about your name its amazing~

"How to Make Deathscythe" is a guidebook, not an artbook. It's a text-based guide to character and world info, and stuff. It should be shelved with the regular Soul Eater manga, not in the artbook section.

I have, and got different results! If a site does in fact list the ISBN it's not necessarily correct - The only listed one I found differs from this but only a few numbers.

I tend to be wary of online sites due to mark-ups and heavy fees for shipping where I live...and the site I normally buy from (and trust) hasn't got it listed yet and asked for the ISBN number so they could check it out.

Speaking of the interior spread, Soul's got another Thompson sister all over him, the sly dog (though technically it just looks like she's leaning on him). And Blackstar's the only one with most of his face obscured. Hm.

But Ox wins it. Yes. I bet Kim's responsible for all that new hair up there. Patti and her poofy shorts come in second. |DDD

I live in Japan and I bought my copy at a bookstore.
