Soul Eater April Scanspam, Part the Third: Who da man?!
Ohkubo da man.
Preview time:

Note to self: Scanning artbook pages without damaging the book itself is hard. Hence the blurriness all over poor Killik there. But here you go, I tried to scan some more anyway.
Sooooo, the new Ohkubo artbook. It is fantastic. Absofuckinglutely fantastic. And no, I'm not going to scan too many pages for y'all, since I'm a firm believer in "If you want it, then buy it." Also, I don't want to damage the binding on my own copy, not too much. But here's just a little sampling of what's inside.

Same image, interior version. Better colors, worse bleedthrough.

I just really like this pic. Maka, Soul, and Blair make a great threesome.

Ohkubo's original design for "Grimoire," who would later evolve into the manga's Noah.
In the scribbly notes: Ohkubo makes a Pokemon joke. Ohkubo WINS.
So other than that, what all is in the artbook, you may ask? Well, everything, basically, plus the kitchen sink. The book contains every single color Soul Eater illustration that Ohkubo has ever done, large or small, including material that he created for the anime DVD releases and Monotone Princess Wii game, plus colored story pages from the manga.
Conveniently, there's an index of illustration credits at the back of the book. So, in case you were wondering, here's the index of every single piece printed in the book. So you can try before you buy:
