I'm still sad that I probably won't be able to see this movie in theaters, but at least we can all enjoy the tangential awesome of the internet having a party with the film.

Food and drink inspired by shows are always good. Actually, this reminded me of when you did that Sakura Taisen post and talked about the cafe with drinks inspired by each character. :)

Still, pardon my ignorance, but I wonder why you won't be able to see the Watchmen movie?

I've seen a poster for it here in New Zealand, and my first impression of Laurie was how much she was dressed like a Starlight. :)

Eh, the movie's playing in Japan, but it definitely won't be coming to my area, and I'm not going to go all the way to Tokyo or Nagoya just to see a movie. (Going to Nagoya = $40 in highway tolls alone.)

That is sad to hear you won't be able to see it in the theater. I'm thinking of buying the comic now so I can reread it. I borrowed it from a friend years ago and now I find myself wanting to read it again.
