Comics are Awesome!!
Hey, look what
poisonivory and I are doing!
Lookeeeeeee!
And yes, we are still very very interested in getting guest posts from anybody and everybody interested. Personally, I'd be especially interested in hearing from somebody with experience using science- or math-focused comics, i.e. The Manga Guide to Statistics.
Also, since I haven't plugged this in a while, and hey, a reminder never hurts:
We're still working on this totally awesome map of feminist-friendly comic book stores, and I only added two lonely little submissions this month. If you know of an awesome comic book store that deserves to be on the map, please submit one!
Finally... Watchmen: Portraits. WOW.

The only actual science comic-like books I've dealt with are Anatomy coloring books. I don't think there's anything gender-biased or gender-liberating about those (though I think they did use a female face for the facial muscles - can't remember though). :\
