Mini-Goddess XV
Part three of Kosuke Fujishima's new Mini-Goddess strip, which is being published on the spine of montly issues of Afternoon. In case you missed any of the previous panels, you can find them all linked here.

TOP: Becoming friendly friendly with carrots and eggplant.
CAPTION: CONTINUED ON THE JULY ISSUE!
Okay, I gotta admit, I thought that this one was pretty funny. Stupid, but funny. The reason is that this utter insanity was apparently Belldandy's suggestion, which makes it officially LOLarious.
My favorites strips among the original batch of Mini-Goddess comics were the ones that played a variation on the theme of "Belldandy is really weird, actually." In other words, the strips that found humor in exposing different sides of Belldandy that we don't normally see in the regular manga. I think that this is one of them, again, at last, finally!
This week's manga chapter was utterly pointless, again, but it did include some really cool magic/spell-casting/action sequences. So at least the artwork was nifty. Oh, and a bunch of old characters made brief cameos, including Aoshima, the Queen, and some of the Nekomi Tech professors from waaaaay back in the first twenty chapters of the manga.
Also, the bonus goodie that comes bundled with this month's Afternoon is a cute Chii's Sweet Home/Puu-Neko combined magnet set. (This makes sense because Puu-Neko is published in Afternoon and Chii's Sweet Home is published in Afternoon's sister magazine Morning.) Anyway, the magnets are really, really cute.
Yes, I realize that the official romanization is Poo-Neko, but I refuse to write that. I REFUSE, I say.
