What went down at the "Girls Who Kick Ass" panel:

David Brothers takes Buche to task for his panel write-up. You know, I hate to toot my own horn, but it's nice to see someone else calling out the sexist anti-Jameson bullshit, for once.

(Not that I'm trying to wave my feminist martyr flag, or anything.)

ETA: Oh, for fuck's sake. I'm glad I missed that interview when it was published in February. Christina Z, Mariah Huehner, and Mukesh Singh handled it well, but that interviewer asked some pretty cringe-inducing questions.

ETA TWO: Kevin Huxford posts video of the panel. Misogyny flies in the comments. The guys all pat themselves on the back and share some hyuks, while I go over into a corner and vomit.

It is nice to see ppl calling out the sexist anti-Jameson bs :] It bothers me too :( I hate when ppl put down women for being involved in the sex industry and act like they must be morons or should be dismissed in general and shouldn't be taken srsly or something. :\
