Heath Ledger.
One thing that I hate about living abroad:
I usually find out about shitty news from my flist before I see it on the TV or in newspapers.
(I have no other coherent thoughts at the moment, other than holy shit and wanting to cry, which I shouldn't want to because it's not like I personally knew him or anything, but still. I want to cry.)

And I don't even like him either. I mean, I just wasn't interested in him, you know? But it's still awful.

ledger was a talented actor. i can't say he was a man with a rare quality, because those words carry quite a different connotation in english. but maybe... i can't help thinking, maybe his potrayals onscreen helped people off it; lightened their hearts, let them have a little more understanding, a little more sympathy. when empathy meets performance, that's a rare quality. and that's gone. that 'guna' is gone.
