CAPTION: CONTINUED ON THE DECEMBER ISSUE!

Well... I guess she can generate electricity, I mean, she has lightning powers and all....

Sorry no random manga page this month. Megumi was awesome, but really all she did was stand around and talk for twenty pages, which does not lend to dynamic scannable pages, alas.

Next month's Afternoon promises to include a Belldandy poster. I'm hoping it will be some new artwork, and not just a recycled image. But you never know.

Man, I think it's been almost a year since I've read any of the scanlations (I missed it starting with the newer Sentaro arc). I should probably get back into it soon.

And characters standing around talking for twenty pages is exactly what makes me not read any recent chapters of AMG, anyway :P

To be fair, it was a pretty awesome twenty pages of Megumi standing around and talking. It was done like the end of a Sherlock Holmes story, with Megumi revealing clue-by-clue how she had outsmarted Welsper.

Come to think of it, there were some very nice panels of Megumi, I probably should have scanned some... Oh well, too late. We had our monthly recycling day last week, and my copy of Afternoon is already gone.

Ooh, now that sounds sexy. I shall have to catch up on the last twelve months.

AMG is usually characters standing around talking, but like, in dramatic-poster styled poses. Me think Fujishima-sensei has been reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novels recently and it spilled over into the series. The last chapter was really enjoyable, so I expect good things from this one.

Afternoon isn't skimping on the AMG extras recently are they?

They normally don't have any, which is why I've been very pleased by the offerings in the past couple months (http://www.megami-sama.net/visions/galnoon.php). I can assume that with the 20th anniversary looming, we'll only be getting more.
