Awesome.

This just in:

1. Toei's official licensed Sailor Moon 2002 calendar copies a chunk of English text from a well-known English-language Sailor Moon fansite.

2. The text is copied again onto a bootleg poster.

3. The owner of the website discovers this hilarity when she buys a copy of the bootleg poster.

Ah, the circle of ambiguous copyright violations is now complete.

Oh woops, didn't realize that. Anyway, the text in question is the first paragraph here (http://www.eternalsailormoon.org/japanese.html), which hasn't been changed or altered since the year 2000. This (http://visipix.dynalias.com/newsgroup/DOWN%20Japan00019/Anime/smw2002c_7.jpg) is the calendar page.
