I am almost the last person in the English-speaking world to have seen Heroes.

A group of friends + the last batch of Pino's now-discontinued Green Tea Dark Chocolate flavor ice cream + Heroes marathon, beginning to end.

Best weekend ever?

Only now I have a headache. From the ice cream and the TV marathon, combined.

But seriously, Heroes? Is awesome. Other than the fact that it had Issues With Women, of course, but that's already been thoroughly covered in those six-month-old blog posts that I'm now finally looking at.

Also worth mentioning: I am either psychic, or I have spent too much time writing my own gimmicky sci-fi fiction. Because I predicted pretty much everything that happened in the show several episodes before it did. What happened to Nathan and Peter in the end? I knew that was going to happen the moment that Ted Sprague showed up (yes, including the bit about Nathan). Micah and the voting machines? Called that one several episodes ahead. Oh, and this: A couple episodes before Linderman showed up for the first time, I actually said, "I bet he'll turn out to be some really grandpa-y British dude." And Nathan (my friend Nathan, not the character Nathan) said, "Played either by Jeremy Irons or Malcolm McDowell."

Clearly we are all psychic. Or maybe it's something in the Pino ice cream. BTW, I'm still pissed that they discontinued that flavor.

You're not the last. Damn my work hours.

Not to diss your psychic powers, which, I'm sure, are formidable, but Heroes is pretty much made of cliche goodness. Part of what makes it so good is that it's so bad. The other part of what makes it so good is that the dude who plays Mohinder is extremely nice to look at. ^.~

Agreed on both counts. Although by the fiftieth time Mohinder's voice-over starting going on about "Why are we here? What is our purpose?" I wanted to stab myself.
