That's not only the most frequently-googled phrase about "Ester Dean," it's the ONLY phrase that Google came up with to finish my query. "what songs did ester dean write" wasn't even an option that came up.

In fairness, when someone in an online article is talking about her songs, they're probably going to use the phrase "Ester Dean wrote yada-yada," so including the past-tense "wrote" would get better results than the present-tense "write." But yeah, that is pretty ironic.
