Hiiro no Kakera is actually really, really enjoyable.

I'd even go so far as to call it, well, kind of good. "Good" might be stretching things a little, but it's pretty close. It's definitely one of the best otome game adaptations I've seen in a long time. And as far as teen girl id-fulfillment fantasies go, it's leagues better than your standard Vampire Knight fare. The set-up is basically the same: Ordinary teen girl, magical powers, Great Destiny to Fulfill, harem of pretty boys fighting by her side.

But cliched thought the setup may be, it's still done damn well: Beautiful animation, fun characters, and an interesting enough story. Plus it has a really wonderful heroine at its center.

Seriously, their homepage is the first result that appears and you can buy direct from them. In terms of "online" copies, you can buy digital issues through their android/blackberry app and I would assume eventually their iOS app as well.

If you want this anime to succeed and more otome games for us to be animated, please, please, PLEASE if you can afford it, PLEASE PLEASE buy the DVD or Bluray from amazom japan. It can even be translated to english so people outside Japan who know English can buy. Just search for Hiiro no Kakera DVD 1 or Hiiro no Kakera BLURAY 1 and buy it!

I got an update on the sales and the sales are doing VERY BADLY! I'M NOT LYING! If an anime is successful it needs at least 6000 copies sold! The rate this anime's sales are going it won't even hit 1500! THAT'S A MAJOR FAILURE! PLEASE! If each one of us just buy just ONE DVD or Bluray, this anime will be a certified hit and we'll get more anime like this.
