Props to Maa TV...

...for running an announcement on their program Nenena reminding viewers to please email them at nenena@maatv.com and NOT at nenena@gmail.com, as the latter email address belongs to some poor American girl who is in no way shape or form affiliated with the program and who is really, really tired of wannabe Telugu actors sending her their pics and audition info over email.

Not that this has stopped the influx of mis-addressed emails that I'm still getting, but hey, at least the Maa TV producers have been incredibly gracious and helpful when I contacted them about the issue. So really, mad props to them.

Why yes, it has indeed been a very, very interesting month in my gmail inbox.

Maybe I have a deep mean streak, but I would start an anonymous blog and post these pics. It's not your fault that they didn't pay attention to which e-mail address they need to use.

It wouldn't be a very anonymous blog if people could figure out right away what my email address is!

Also, that sounds a bit too cruel for my tastes. :( I've been emailing these guys back and very politely pointing the mistake out to them. I think it's enough of a shock for them when they realize that they just sent their pics and a *ton* of personal information to some random stranger on the internet. Yeah, it's a stupid mistake for a person to make, but it's also an innocent mistake. I'd rather save my mocking energy for people who actually deserve it. ;)

I imagine that the first few emails would have been pretty hilariously confusing.

And yes, I second that anonymous blog idea. I feel like we should set up a point system, with mullets winning an additional 5 points (or something like that).

The first email confused me, but then Google explained it all pretty quickly.

Alack, alas! I have yet to see a single mullet.

... I wish this announcement was screencapped or put on youtube.

I also want to see this. XD

Y'know, out of curiosity, I did try to see if there was a way that I could watch the episode for myself. But it's not streaming on the Maa TV website, and apparently it's nowhere on Youtube. But as long as somebody from the official Maa TV email address emailed me and told me that they made an announcement, I trust that it actually happened. ;)

Why not me?!

Huhh, didn't know there was a Maa TV. Wonder if they'll start a Paa TV channel... :D

Seriously, that sounds like one very odd situation. Kudos to them for responding as well as they did. Now if only other channels would follow the suit and actually read their inbox - I'm looking at you, Aaj Tak/Headlines Today.

That would be annoying...but I must admit I'd be rather flattered if someone, out of pure coincidence, named a show "Miss Breeziness". :D
