Nothing, nothing drives me more insane than this fandom's hard-on for making icons out of uncredited fanart.
It pisses me off when somebody posts a bunch of fanart icons to one of the SE coms - nothing but cropped fanart pics, mind you, no other effort or effects involved - and they get a million comments along the lines of "Wow, your icons are so pretty!" or "Wow, what fantastic icons!"
I hate it when icon makers write "all fanart from pixiv" as if that counts as some sort of credit. Fuck no. That's like saying "all images from google images." That is not a credit.
I hate it when make icons out of fanart from Shuri, Miya Katsura, Miki, or any other artist that has specifically requested - usually IN ENGLISH - that people not make icons from their art. Miya Katsura specifically closed down her website because of people taking her artwork without permission. And just the other day somebody posted to shibusen a bunch of icons using her artwork. Ah that drives me nuts too. Hetalia fandom's another one that's really bad about uncredited fanart icons. Seriously guys, is it really that hard to credit? Or to not make fanart icons at all?

The art on the Awakened Beings makes me happy in my pants but as soon as he tries to draw something that's supposed to look like a human I start wanting to rip things to pieces :cccc
IDK about fandom-fandom, as I'm not really involved in Claymore fandom. But all of the srs bzns reviews and analysis that I read of Claymore keep praising it for having such uhmaaaazing artwork, which always makes me raise my eyebrows.
The proportions are hideous. In some panels, it's seriously like there is no way that a person that skinny could be standing upright. In some panels it looks like Clare's arms couldn't possibly be connected to her body, as even with Yagi's convenient armor!shoulders there, it still doesn't look like Clare has any real shoulder joints. Sometimes the Claymores have waists so thin that they couldn't possibly have any internal organs, much less, you know, ribs. Also, the armor!boobs are completely inexplicable. The cover of volume 3 is a particularly egregious example of all of the above.
She's one of my all-time favorite characters, but I still say she should have stayed dead.
Actually, I wish that she had died heroically during "Inferno" instead of going through that stupid reverted-back-to-an-innocent-child crap just so that she could die as a tragic, waifish innocent a few story arcs later. But that's just me.
I think that this fandom is so wanky that there's actually no such thing as an unpopular opinion. No matter what I can think of to complain about, there are a hundred other people with the same complaint. No matter what I can think of to squee about, there are a hundred other people sharing the same squee.

What is it that you hate about the anatomy?
I personally enjoy the art and I find his anatomy refreshing compared to other styles but I would like to see a different perspective.
