Last night I discovered that it is extremely difficult to argue that Avatar is exactly like Dances with Wolves and The Last Samurai to somebody who has never actually seen Dances with Wolves or The Last Samurai.

Not yet, but having read several thorough descriptions of the plot and being spoiled for everything that actually happens, I no longer want to. I know that it is going to be gorgeous but I know that I am going to hate it. So, no. I would much rather spend my money on The Princess and the Frog, which I have yet to see.

Will you be at your parent's house tomorrow? I'll call you, or you can call me, or something!

I only have a few (actually, just two) days free before Christmas, so I'm saving my hangout time for people that I know IRL. But this summer I'll be back in Iowa for a little while, maybe we can do an Iowa meetup!
