And now, some figure-related stuff:

In addition to all of those nice but expensive PVC figures, the insanely overpriced resin kit, and the creepy sexual harassment limited edition Animage figure, it looks like there are finally some more (*ahem*) affordable Haruhi figures up and coming. The first series of capsule keychains is now available, with a second set coming soon. Upcoming are also trading figures, Pinky:st figures, and three new furoku* figures that will be attached to issues of Shounen Ace and The Sneaker in 2007. This last bit was just announced in The Sneaker; you can see the annoucement, and the Ito Noizi artwork that the figures will be based on, in the scans pack linked above.
* Furoku = extra goodies that come with a particular issue of a magazine.

Furoku = special extra goodies attached to a particular issue of a magazine. Eep, I should have mentioned that in the post. (*smacks head*) And I'm the type of person who usually complains when somebody throws around a bunch of Japanese lingo in a post. (*ashamed*) Sorry!
