Haruhi high-res scans, Yuki Super Scoop Edition

Season 2 artwork revealed, Haruhi around Japan, and more. Plus Figma bonus spectacular.









So instead of giving us any new Haruhi novel serialization, this month's The Sneaker instead decided to scoop Yuki's updated design for season 2 of the anime series. It's kind of... uh? I don't know. I don't know really what to think. It immediately strikes me as overly-busy and overly-lolitafied when compared to the clean, lovely character designs from the first season. But it's just one visual, so it's kind of too early to tell.

Although, let me just go on the record as saying that I wholeheartedly support any version of Yuki with adorably messy hair. ;)








There are a lot of great scoops in this month's magazines, including a really super awesome upcoming set of Nendoroid Petit figures that you have got to see to believe. They're AWESOME. Also, a new set of gashapon figures... Apparently a lavish amount of detail was devoted to the buttcrack on the Yuki figure in that set. Seriously. It is a very finely detailed buttcrack.








This scans pack includes previews of the cover of manga volume 06 (5/26), and a Haruhi phonestrap that will be the bonus freebie for next month's Shounen Ace. The phonestrap is mildly terrifying.

Yay! Any media on the second season is good media. I have a feeling that Yuki is just extra detailed there for eye candy. I'd be surprised if she looked that way in the actual anime. Also, I want the Koizumi figma figure. Dx
