I buy Japanese magazines for the pretty pictures. And for the amusement value.

1. That's a figure of JACK BAUER KICKING DOWN A DOOR. Awesome.
2. I can't believe that I'm seeing a Beowulf figure set that has Grendel's mother in her snake form instead of in her NAKED ANGELINA JOLIE form. And what's more amazing is that this figure set is made by a Japanese manufacturer (Tomy) and is not an imported product. WOW.

I don't know what that means. Kara no Kyoukai is awesome, but I still have no idea what that means.
