Suzumiya Haruhi: S2. Not a hoax. Also, more scans.

sos_brigade have already heard this, and the rest of you probably have to. But just in case: Second season of Suzumiya Haruhi in 2007. This time it's legit. No word yet on who will be producing it, but it would be insane for the property to be handed over to anyone other than KyoAni, so I think that's a safe assumption to make.

Part Two will be massive, as Newtype had the audacity to put out AN ENTIRE FEKKIN ARTBOOK this month, just to make life harder for me, I'm sure. I'm still debating how much of said artbook to scan, but here's the breakdown:
Pages 4-49
Reprints of ALL Newtype articles in any way related to Haruhi. So not planning on scanning these.
Page 50
Official poster collection. Small pictures, and you've all seen them before.
Centerfold 1
Reprint of the October pullout poster. Same size as the original.
Centerfold 2
Reprint of the November pullout poster. Same size as the original.
Centerfold 3 (1/2 B2 size)
New poster of Haruhi!!! It's totally sweet.
Pages 60-67
Large, gorgeous reprints of Ito Noizi's novel covers.
Pages 68-77
Collection of Ito Noizi's artwork (textless). By no means a complete collection, but some nice pieces. Range in size from 1/3 page to full page.
Pages 78-81
Info about Tsuruya, Ryoko, Kimidori, and Imouto-san. Features two original illustrations of Ryoko and Tsuruya (no, not the same as the character song covers), which I haven't seen before. Unfortunately, they're not very good.
Pages 82-91
Textless reprints of illustrations from all other major anime magazines. Some of these are quite small, and honestly, you've already seen bigger versions of them in the Official Fanbook.
Pages 92-93
CD checklist and cover gallery. Very small pics, none textless. The checklist in and of itself is quite useful, though.
Pages 94-95
DVD cover gallery up through volume 5. Very small pics. Also a synopsis of what happens in each volume, as if we didn't already know that.
Page 96
The Sneaker, Comic Ace, and CompH cover gallery. Very small pics.
Page 97
Pics of some selected furoku items, from the above-mentioned magazines.
Page 98
Telecard gallery. Woefully incomplete, missing the Megami telecards from the past couple months.

Pages 100-106
A rather detailed episode guide (for example, complete staff for each episode) and OP/ED screenshot galleries.
As of November 25th this artbook will already be out of date, since CompH is publishing another Haruhi cover and feature article. Judging from the ads, the artwork looks to be appropriately scandalous. Somebody should really tell Haruhi that bunny ears AND a Santa suit are a bit of an overkill.

will the newtype haruhi artbook be called something like "Newtype Suzumiya Haruhi Artbook", or will it be something random like "Newtype Christmas Special for our fans!!!!!!!"? and do you know around how much it'll cost? ^^ thank you so much for the news & scans~
