By the way, am I the only one who thinks that white mouths look odd? I mean, coloured manga pics on cards.

Huh. I didn't even notice those.

Then again, Fujishima seems to do that a lot in his color-color illustrations, too. A lot of manga covers have that white mouth thing going on...

You're right, though. It does look weird, now that I'm noticing it.

I must say, those are some really nice action shots. Very uncharacteristic for AMG, which makes it even better. Rind=pwnd. (Although I do wonder about the accuracy of Mara's account of what happened... Somehow I don't trust her not to embellish things beyond any recognition.)
