In other news, HELLLLLL YEEEEAAAAAAH Japan won the Baseball World Classic today!!! So I say because every Japanese person that I know would immediately disown me if I admitted that I was actually cheering for South Korea during that game. Maybe not just stop at 'disowning' me. I'm pretty sure that actual tar and feathering would be involved at some point.

See what living in Japan has done to me?! I care about baseball now. I actually freakin' care about baseball. Now there's no turning back. Insert your own 'turning Japanese' joke here.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDD

it's a huge thing everywhere except in like.. America xD

It's funny, in the first WBC, I predicted Japan, South Korea and Cuba would do rly well and one of those 3 would win it, and everybody was like "NO AMERICA WILL WIN IT EASILY" and um.. guess who was 1 2 3? Japan, Cuba and South Korea xD

This year US did a LITTLE better (only b/c this format is SO FLAWWED, they should have been out long ago) but yay xD

They did good. I do think the average Japanese League team would win about 70-75 games in the majors, the level is play is equivalent to the majors. The big money teams like the Giants might contend if they were in the NL.

AHAH omg there's more Koreans around here where I live and basically every Asian was anticipating this game. All my Korean friends asked me what I thought of about the game and my response was "...Baseball?" I had no idea there was a baseball game between Korea and Japan. That's hilarious (and tense).

It's sad, because I'm Korean, and yeah. I'm not really a sports person.

Hey, Japan made me care about basketball via "Slam Dunk!" and "Real!" so it's not so strange. I'm excited they won, too. =D

Don't get shot XD
Why is Japan so "YAY BASEBALL" anyway? I've lived in the US my whole life... and don't pay attention to sports so I don't quite get it ._.
