I maintain: This would make the greatest prom photo EVER. I mean, seriously. Her
dress is made of blood and her boyfriend is a giant glowing badass SCYTHE.

Volume 14 cover illustration. What, you were expecting the Troika? PSYCH!
Oh yeah check out that epic bleedthrough. Thank you, scanner. Thank you.

Small review of volume 14. This is what the cover is actually going to look like.

Information of note:

DVD volume 9 is out on 4/24 and comes with a Medusa sticker. The cover hasn't been revealed yet, but it's probably going to be Medusa.

Soul Eater Radio volume 2 is also hitting the streets on 4/24.

A "Best of Soul Eater" CD will be released on 4/22. Here's the track listing:

01. Resonance
02. Wannabe
03. Style
04. Papermoon
05. Bakusou Yume Uta
06. Strength
07. Mauve-iro no Sympathy
08. My Star
09. Sore ga Bokura no Michi Shirube
10. Psychedelic Soul Jam (OST theme for Maka and Soul)
11. Harmonize (OST theme for Black Star and Tsubaki)
12. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Have a Nice Dream (OST theme for the Kid, Liz, and Patti)
13. Soul's Crossing (the Monotone Princess theme song by T.M. Revolution)

And no, the cover of the new CD has not been revealed yet.

Finally, once more with feeling: Both manga volume 14 and the new Ohkubo artbook will be released on 3/21.

Still not enough Maka for you? Well, there's also this, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] jophiel2287, which simply cannot be linked enough.

Are you in Japan? I hate to break this to you, but you need to actually be located *in* Japan in order for this to work. There should be a white payment form, printed with blue ink, attached to the Table of Contents on the back page of the magazine. You would take that form, fill out your name and address, then take it to a Japanese post office or bank, where they would process the form as a type of instant money order.

And that, unfortunately, is the only way to do it.

Though not in Japan, I do have a friend there that's willing to deal with the transactions and etc. Thank you so much for the translation. Those headphones are just too cool to pass up.
