This is actually based on a joke running around the Gankutsuou fandom a couple years ago. The Count was totally fly for a blue guy. But there is only one blue guy I know of who is more fly than the Count of Monte Cristo, and that is Krishna. Because, you know. Sixteen thousand wives, plus a bear, and he probably got at least to second base with Arjuna, too. I think. What base would "sleeping naked with a guy while spooning him" count as?

This is the ONLY reason that I'm still reading Tsubasa. The ONLY reason. And it's (finally!) canon, too. Granted, this is largely due to the fact that a series of incredibly unsexy plot devices have conspired to literally bind Kurogane and Fay together for an eternity. So if they're not outright smooching, they're basically stuck in Mohinder/Matt territory at the very least. Oh yeah, icon by evercool.



This is from the back of one of the Soul Eater tankouban. I love the way that Ohkubo actually summarizes the events in each volume with a series of weird, cryptic little cartoons on the back of the dust jacket. (I.e., on the back of volume 12: A funkadelic giant squid. That makes perfect sense if you've read volume 12.) Anyway, I chose this icon because cute rabbit + giant scary knife = win. Although when I first saw this image, I thought that the rabbit was a puppy, which made it somehow even better. Anyway, the rabbit is supposed to be the rabbit that Crona kills in a flashback in volume 05, which... makes the cartoon on the back of the dust jacket morbidly, awfully hilarious.

I also initially uploaded this one because I wanted at least one Soul Eater icon, and at the time I had yet to come across alice_rm's brilliant immortalization of the eyebrow-plucking scene.

Celes was... about chapter 149 to 167. After that was the Nihon arc. But I'd say that the coupledom officially started in the Tokyo arc when Kurogane agreed to be bonded to Fay for all eternity in order to save his life. That's... yeah. Hard to interpret in a non-romantic manner.

In Clow Country, we saw Kurogane and Fay sharing a room with a single bed.

In this week's chapter, Kurogane and Fay basically declared themselves as Sakura/Syaoran's parents, so there's increasingly little wiggle room for interpretation.
