Okay, so actual summary. Ummmmmm. Sakura is either dead, or posessed, or possibly both - I don't know - it was REALLY UNCLEAR.

Syaoran tries to be a Hero, but lasts about five seconds before FWR kills him.

Except we readers know that Syaoran isn't actually dead because, hey, it's a flashback.

But anyway, flashback!Syaoran is dead, and flashback!Sakura might be dead, I don't know - IT'S REALLY UNCLEAR - and FWR once again demonstrates his ridiculously omnipotent powers, which once again begs the question of why he's going to such circumlocutious lengths to fulfill his "wish" when it basically looks like he can do whatever he wants with a snap of his fingers. Oh well.

So add Syaoran to the list of characters that FWR has killed - including Kurogane's mother and Fay's twin brother - by barely lifting a finger.

What I can't get over is how, apparently, a show that's all about the obsessive relationship betweeen two boys, one of whom is named Lulu and whom spends an entire episode running around with a butt-shaped hat on his head, isn't gay enough for her.

If it's not blatant, it's not gay. I've yet to read the entire thread, but from a quick glance, I'd say she's part of the Tokyopop Generation. Got into anime recently, is still in high school, buys doujin at anime cons and expects all anime boys to act like they do in those plastic-wrapped books her friends buy her on eBay. In short: she wants it obvious.

Let's hope she never reads CLAMP. The layers of subtext and eye exchanges would completely pass her by.

Seriously, though, Code Geass is far too entertaining to waste itself on canon yaoi digressions.

Oh boy, I clicked on the link you posted, and this week's Tsubasa must be reeeeeeeally boring if that's more fun...:D

I've actually read some CLAMP stuff and enjoyed it, but not to the "fandom" level.

My real "fandoms" (stuff I think I can write fanfics about):

-Sailor Moon
-Harry Potter
-Lord of the Rings
-Various miscellaneous movies

...GAH, I NEED TO BE A BIGGER NERD. :D

Okay, the real reason I'm actually (gasp, horror) replying to one of your Tsubasa threads (I'm just not into it, darn, haven't even read it) is to tell you three things I really like about you.

1. You are tolerant of people with different political viewpoints and willing to be friends with them. That's several automatic "ups" in my book.

2. Despite your rather angry political posts sometimes, and a certain one in which you claimed to be ashamed of your own species...I can tell you are a person who really loves and appreciates human beings in general, as well as individuals. It's obvious every time I read one of your fics (okay, I admit I've only read the Starlight ones so far).
You know, the feeling of kindness and compassion I get in your fics, and in your biographical analyses of the Starlights, are why I was "attracted" to you in the first place.

3. Your incredible passion and love for your fandoms, your work, everything you do, and just for life in general. If anyone has half the love for life that you do, they're very lucky indeed.

4) Your brilliant sense of humour.
