I'm all for equal representation in shows and this show is ultimately a fantasy, and a modern one. That being said, I think in a real life situation (like this) there is no way we will ever let women join the ranks like in this show. In a world where ALL HUMANS were eaten, there is no way women cannot be the child bearers/care takers while there is no way the men won't work.

Sorry if I'm saying the obvious, I'm not trying to be redundant I just want to make sure that a lack of women in shows is not always trying to be chauvinistic. Women have a duty to protect themselves these days, got it, but most men will always try to protect women before protecting themselves because that's just the way it is. *shrugs,*
