"Sexy" deaths of female characters are far, far too common manga and really any comics. For a quick illustrative example: This is how the mangled body of a dead female Robin is drawn, and this is how the mangled body of a dead male Robin is shown. Both of those panels are from the same "War Games" storyline. See the difference?
