Much, much better (and higher-res) scans of these covers than I previously posted.

Hmmm, I don't think I ever actually got around to posting this in my journal...?

Click for high-res!

Er, likewise.

Click for high-res!

So recently, Amazon.co.jp started posting absurdly high-res (I think maybe even vectored?) versions of some CD and DVD covers to their website. Unfortunately, you aren't able to just download and save these new images to your computer, as was previously the case with Amazon pics. Now, if you want to save the high-res versions, you have to go through and painstakingly edit together a bunch of individual sections of the image in question, like putting together some sort of infuriating digital puzzle.

Here, I just went through and did that for y'all with the Troika (volume 07) DVD boxset.

For the record, I think that the previous two DVD boxes are equally as stunning as this one. Unfortunately, the fourth box, which also got the high-res treatment, is really nothing to write home about.

Oh yeah, and it sucks that those images are tilted at an angle, you can't a nice clean rip off the artwork from them.

Edit! High-res scans of the actual DVD covers themselves are now posted here. Enjoy!

Hmmm, I think that's it for tonight's scanspam. For the record, I was going to go the extra mile and scan this piece of terrible beauty for y'all to enjoy...But then I got tired. And the darn poster is too wrinkly to make a decent scan of anyway.
