This is what I think the problem is: All of the women, with the exception of Kate, are wearing gowns. And Kate's pantsuit is still very elegant formalwear, so it works fine. But Kara? Kara is wearing a dress. No wonder she looks so out of place. She might as well be wearing jeans... I mean, her outfit really sticks out like a sore thumb.
