Sanjay Patel interview!
Jan. 16th, 2007 01:14 amRemember this?
The arist, Sanjay Patel, was recently interviewed by Novametro. There is a fun little linguistic nerd-out at the end of the piece that made me very happy to read.
I said it two years ago and I'll say it again: I want this book.
Hmmm, I still have Amazon.com gift certificates that I haven't used... On the other hand, the book is also available on Amazon.co.jp, where I won't have to pay an astronomical shipping fee, and can get it in one day, and can buy it for cheaper than off Amazon.com, because yay the yen is right now pwning the dollar. (That may change in the next five minutes, though.)
Choices.
ETA: Gheehappy.com also now officially plugs Sita Sings the Blues, which is... really awesome, and really hilarious.
And as long as we're on this topic,
storyjunkie reports that Virgin Comics' Devi is actually awesome and not sexist. Well, then. I may have to give it a second chance.
