If you've talked to Obama supporters that really don't understand Obama's positions, then (*shrug*) it's not any different. Never said that it was. I find it interesting that you brought up that comparison right away, though. It's coming across as awfully axe-grindy.

Personally I've spoken to very few Obama supporters who don't actually understand his stances on the issues. I guess it all depends on what circles you run in.

As for Article 9, of course the Japanese are against it. We're paying for a good portion of defending Japan so they don't have to.
